DOES AM MUSIC DO 1-2-1 LESSONS?
Yes, AM Music offers 1-2-1 music productions lessons. They cost £50 per hour and are conducted online using Zoom video calls. Send a message via the contact page to organise a free 30 minute trial lesson.
IS AM MUSIC BASED IN LONDON, UK?
AM Music is no longer based in London, from 2026 lessons will only be available online.
WHAT MAKES AM MUSIC DIFFERENT?
Adam from AM Music has a unique position since he worked in the music industry for 10 years at labels and publishers - as well as being a published producer with many international TV synchs. This means he understands the business side as well as the creative side, and loves to share his knowledge. Furthermore, he is also a multi-instrumentalist (drums, guitar and keys) and a broad music taste so is able to understand and help you achieve your goals.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?
That depends on your individual goals and the specific services you require.
For beginners to music production, it's often mastering the DAW and writing their first song. For more intermediate producers, it's turning their song into a professional sounding track.
Former students have gone on to release albums, have tracks signed by labels and have thousands of monthly listeners on Spotify.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
To purchase one of our services, head to the services link at the top of the page, and then select the service you want. You will find a "buy now" button for each service that we offer. If you are unsure you can always send a message via the "contact" page.
For mixing, you just need to send your mixing stems.
For mastering you just need to send your stereo uncompressed file.
For tuition there are online video courses available on the courses page.
For 1 to 1 music production tuition - Adam does this over Zoom using screen sharing. These can be purchased on the courses page.
WHO IS AM MUSIC?
AM Music primarily consists of Adam Mills, a published (BMG) composer/producer of production music. However, he often works with a number of freelancers who specialise in different fields such as marketing and social media.
WHICH DAWS DOES ADAM USE?
Adam primarily uses Logic Pro, but he first started on FL Studio, and was taught Pro Tools at university. When he played in the band Weisman he performed using Ableton Live. Adam also uses Reaper for certain sound design and mixing projects. He can help with any of the above DAWs but specialises in Logic Pro and Ableton tuition.
WHAT IS MUSIC PRODUCTION?
Music production is the blanket term given for the process of creating music. It covers a range of disciplines such as recording music, writing music, mixing and mastering music. Whilst the role of a music producer was previously to manage the recording process, the modern producer today is often expected to write, record and mix music as well.
